Wild Energy injected into the common fight against modern slavery

As I am sure you are aware the Vienna Forum to Fight Human Trafficking is now only weeks away.
I recently met with Ruslana Lyzhychko, the Ukrainian pop singer, dancer, producer, composer, social activist and former parliamentarian. Ruslana's active involvement in the anti-human trafficking cause led her to contact my office and generously offer her help.
Ruslana has previously worked with institutions such as OSCE, where she initiated and starred in a video to draw attention to the cause. For an example of Ruslana in action have a look at her performance in the clips below.
Despite her petite stature Ruslana is quite a volcano: her unconventional drive, wild manners and energetic performance will further raise awareness of UN.GIFT.
It is very encouraging that UN.GIFT is attracting attention beyond the traditional realm of governments and NGOs. I am happy to see that a large number of artists have expressed their support for the cause, including Emma Thomson, Julia Ormond and Ricky Martin as well as many artists from Ballywood.
Are you an artist? Can you contribute to the cause? Then join the UN.GIFT initiative.
